Who we are
Research and Metric is a group of three companies:
- Research and Metric Corporation, a Wyoming corporation, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA;
- Intakk Research and Metric Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India;
- Research and Metric Pte. Ltd., Singapore.
In this policy, "Research and Metric", "we" and "us" mean these companies.
Research and Metric Corporation runs this website and decides how the personal data collected through it is used. In data protection law, this makes it the "controller" or "data fiduciary". When our India or Singapore company handles your data for its own dealings with you, for example under a contract signed with that company, that company is also responsible for it.

We share personal data only when we need to, and only with:

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for, or as long as the law requires.
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Briefs and enquiries that do not lead to a project | 2 years after our last contact with you |
| Client, supplier and partner records, including contracts and invoices | For as long as we work together, then as long as tax and company law requires, usually up to 8 years after the end of the financial year |

| Marketing contacts | Until you opt out. After that, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so that we respect your choice. |
When a period ends, we delete the data or make it anonymous. If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employee record, which our staff privacy notice covers.
How we protect it
We use security controls aligned with ISO/IEC 27001, including encrypted connections, access limited to staff who need it, and regular reviews. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data, and we will tell you and the authorities about a breach when the law requires it.
